Priming


Here are all three stocks. Block sanded to 180. New masking tape applied to bedding, pads etc. You can see the shiny spots on the middle one. This is a wet surface that has not dried yet after been wiped down with reducer.


Two part Epoxy primer is used.



Coat one. You can see a few light spot. These will cover on the next coats.


Here they are. Basically 2 coats on all surfaces with a little extra coverage on the edges.
After 24 hours of drying, the next step will be to block sand these with 220 and see if there are any areas that need to be filled.
Then re-prime any new areas of filler. With Xotic primer no sealer is needed so after sanding to 600 grit  these will be ready to base coat. The masking tape will be removed and new applied.
